  In a tense family meeting, Jiang Churan receives shocking news: the Su family has offered their family a massive 10-billion-yuan investment. The atmosphere grows strained when Shen Zhuo, who had been missing for three years, suddenly reappears. Jiang Churan’s family immediately demands that Shen Zhuo divorce her, citing his lack of ambition and his prolonged absence as reasons. They compare him to a "stray dog," unworthy of their daughter, who is now destined for greatness due to the Su family’s investment. Shen Zhuo, however, remains silent, refusing to explain his disappearance or defend himself.
