Leyla, the crown princess, wakes up to find herself in a difficult situation. The cruel wet nurse is standing over her, saying "You're awake" and "Do you still remember your mother?" Leyla tries to defend herself, but the wet nurse threatens her, saying "Today you've fallen into my hands, I'll make you sorry." The wet nurse calls for someone to "follow the rules" and Leyla asks "what rules?" The wet nurse responds with "you'll know soon enough." It seems Leyla is in for a tough time.

Leyla, now known as Princess Xiang, encounters the fifth prince and introduces herself. The prince is amused but also warns her not to provoke him again. The fifth prince scolds Leyla for not showing him respect, but she remains defiant. The scene ends with tension between the two characters.
