It is also mentioned that the Tang family owes a debt to the heavenly master, and as part of their repayment, they promised to marry their eldest daughter to him. However, the Tang family matriarch dismisses this idea, calling it a feudal superstition, and ridicules Joe for thinking he can marry their daughter, labeling it as a "wild fantasy" for a poor and insignificant daoist like him.
