  Liam, after a long journey through the mountains, finally arrives at his daughter Narla’s grand city home.   Liam, a humble bun seller, visits his daughter Narla in the city, only to be met with hostility from her mother-in-law. As he walks away, Narla is called to a board meeting, her life of luxury and power starkly contrasting with the man who raised her. Meanwhile, Liam struggles to navigate the unfamiliar city streets, a poignant reminder of the vast distance between their worlds.

  Liam, a humble man who once raised his daughter Narla by selling buns, finds himself in the bustling city where Narla now lives. Years have passed since he last saw her, and he longs to reconnect. However, Narla, now married into a wealthy family, denies him, even calling him a beggar in front of her in-laws. Heartbroken, Liam wanders the city, lost and alone. Meanwhile, a young woman named Taozi approaches Liam, calling him "godfather." She reveals that she is the same girl he once found under a peach tree and named Taozi. Overwhelmed with emotion, Liam struggles to recognize her at first, but as she speaks, memories flood back. Taozi explains that after her parents took her back, she went abroad to study. She insists on taking Liam home, dismissing her assistant’s concerns about an important meeting. Determined to reconnect with her godfather, Taozi leads Liam away, promising to help him find his place in her life once more.
