• Ep. 1

Meanwhile, Edna, trying to rebuild her life, encounters a woman who stops her car late at night, seeking a ride. The woman, who is on her way to a second interview for a position at the prestigious Venture Corp, strikes up a conversation with Edna. Unbeknownst to her, Edna is deeply connected to the company and its CEO, Toby Stark. As they part ways, Edna wishes her luck, unaware of the tangled web of relationships and secrets that continue to surround her.
• Ep. 5
  Edna, now staying with her best friend Darcy, is comforted after being kicked out of her home. Darcy reassures her that she can stay as long as needed. Edna reveals she has passed the second round of interviews at Jingtai Group, a prestigious company, and is hopeful about securing a job to support herself.
