Finn, however, has no family to worry about. Realizing the gravity of the situation, he decides to confront the rebellion head-on, hoping the porridge in his truck can quell the unrest. Meanwhile, the laborers, fed up with their meager rations, plot to kill the magistrate and seize the granaries. The villagers, skeptical of his intentions, accuse him of offering them nothing but watery porridge. Finn, determined to win their trust, reassures them that he will prioritize their well-being, even if it means sacrificing everything he has. He orders the remaining porridge to be distributed, but the villagers remain unconvinced, questioning the quality of the food. Finn’s assistant suggests diluting the porridge with water to make it stretch further, but Finn hesitates, knowing it might further diminish the villagers’ trust. The tension rises as Finn struggles to balance his limited resources with the growing demands of the starving population.
