Meanwhile, Tom faces resistance when trying to enter an upscale neighborhood to treat another patient. The security guards mistake him for a salesman and refuse him entry. Despite his protests and offers to leave his ID as collateral, they remain skeptical. Tom insists he is a doctor, but the guards demand proof, asking if a resident will vouch for him. The scene highlights Tom's dual mission: to heal and to seek justice, all while navigating the challenges of his new identity.

  Tom Ford arrives at the entrance of a high-end residential area, Jinshan Courtyard, to meet Dr. Zhou, who was recommended by Director Ma. However, the security guards are skeptical of his identity and refuse to let him in. Tom tries to explain that he is there to see a patient, but the guards mock him, demanding he kneel and call them "grandpa." Frustrated, Tom calls Dr. Zhou, who agrees to come out and escort him inside. When Dr. Zhou arrives, the guards express disbelief, questioning how someone so young could be a doctor. Despite their doubts, Dr. Zhou vouches for Tom, and they proceed inside. The guards, still suspicious, warn Dr. Zhou not to be fooled by Tom, insisting he is a fraud.

The man hesitates, but Tom’s intimidating presence forces him to comply. Later, Tom, now posing as a skilled doctor, meets Miss Tao, who is desperate to cure her father’s illness. Despite skepticism from others, Tom confidently claims he can treat the condition. Miss Tao offers him a hefty sum of money, but Tom declines, adhering to his principles of not overcharging for medical services. Instead, he suggests she treat him to a meal as payment. This interaction hints at Tom’s deeper motives, as he begins to weave himself into the Tao family’s affairs, setting the stage for his larger plan of revenge.
