  In a tense office confrontation, Lin Xia confronts her best friend, Jiang Jiang, about repeated mistakes in their work. Lin Xia, frustrated, reveals that she has been covering for Jiang Jiang's errors for far too long. She urges Jiang Jiang to apologize to their boss, Mr. Wang, and start over. However, Jiang Jiang's incompetence leads to a major financial loss for the company, resulting in her immediate dismissal. Mr. Wang demands that Jiang Jiang personally cover the nearly million-dollar loss. Desperate, Jiang Jiang pleads with Lin Xia for help, reminding her of their friendship. Lin Xia, though sympathetic, refuses to bail her out, realizing that Jiang Jiang's actions have gone too far. Meanwhile, Jiang Jiang reveals her dire personal situation, claiming her family is pressuring her for money and that her brother might harm her if she fails to deliver. Despite her pleas, Lin Xia remains firm, signaling the end of their toxic friendship and Jiang Jiang's downward spiral.
