Hall was once Master Chef possessing the Four Legendary Utensils. His disciple, Zac Marllard, turned against him and pushed Xander off a cliff, making him lose his powers. Luckily, Sean Moore saved him and let Xander marry his daughter, Linda. Together, they had an adorable daughter called Shirley. In order to take back everything he lost, Xander stayed hidden and learned to cook all over again.
