Years later, Justin returned, seeking a divorce, unaware that his chosen lawyer was none other than Shirley herself. The scene unfolded with Justin's family and friends celebrating his supposed wedding, while he made his escape. His mother had arranged the marriage, but Justin had never met his bride. He rejected the traditional arrangement, choosing to pursue his own path in Dubai instead. Little did he know, his decision would set off a chain of events that would lead him back to Shirley, and a second chance at love.

Justin visits a lawyer's office, seeking a divorce. The lawyer, Shen, is unaware that Justin is her estranged husband. A client, Zhao, is being advised on divorce proceedings, arguing over property division with his ex-wife. Shen explains that according to the law, marital property should be divided during divorce, and considering Zhao's ex-wife took care of their children and his paralyzed parents, she is entitled to compensation. Justin interrupts, eager to proceed with his own divorce. Shen cautions him to reconsider, suggesting he meet his wife before making a decision.
