• Ep. 1
  In the imperial city, a fierce battle ensues as the king of Beiliang colludes with foreign forces to incite rebellion. The emperor is enraged, and Shen Qiqi, the renowned general, stands tall, ready to defend the city. With his formidable reputation as the "God of War," he confronts the enemy, daring them to attack. The enemy, however, remains defiant, and Shen Qiqi's men prepare for a fierce fight. As the battle rages on, Shen Qiqi is accused of treason and faces judgment. He is charged with three crimes: usurping power, disrupting the people's hearts, and being disloyal and unjust. Despite this, Shen Qiqi remains unyielding, vowing to take revenge against the "dog emperor" who has wronged him. With a deep-seated hatred, he swears to make the emperor pay for his betrayal in the next life.
• Ep. 2
  Shen Qiqi finds herself in a difficult situation, forced to plead for help from her former enemy. She says, "You yourself protect your own people." Her adversary, now her clandestine spouse, seems to be testing her, telling her to "take the money and leave." However, Shen Qiqi is determined, warning him that "if there's a next life, I will never forgive you." As she navigates this new reality, she begins to uncover clues about her surroundings, asking "what's going on?" and "where am I?" Her spouse seems to be hiding something, and Shen Qiqi discovers a mysterious red thread, finding it "interesting." With her strength and determination, she vows to take control of her situation, saying "I will not be enough, I will do more."
• Ep. 3
  Shen Qiqi's family has found their long-lost daughter, which may lead to the fake daughter losing favor. Meanwhile, the Li family is trying to arrange a marriage for Li Ting. Today is a joyful day as Shen Qiqi's father celebrates being reunited with his real daughter. He thanks everyone for attending and sharing his happiness, considering both his biological daughter and Shen Qiqi as his own. However, Shen Qiqi is not present due to her past experiences. Later, Shen Qiqi appears, and someone questions her presence, asking if she wasn't supposed to be abroad. She seems taken aback and unsure of how to respond.
• Ep. 4
  Shen Qiqi returns home, injured and disheveled. Her family is surprised to see her and notices her severe wound. They advise her to get it treated to avoid infection, especially since an important guest, Lisi, is visiting. As they try to take care of Shen Qiqi's wound, she seems hesitant and unsure about what to do. Meanwhile, Lisi arrives with Shen Qiqi's younger sister, Shen Siru. The atmosphere becomes tense as Shen Qiqi and Lisi exchange bitter words, revealing a deep-seated animosity between them. They seem to have a long history of conflict, with Shen Qiqi accusing Lisi of being untrustworthy and Lisi mocking Shen Qiqi's actions. The scene ends with a sense of foreboding, as if their encounter will lead to a confrontation or reckoning.
• Ep. 5
  Shen Qiqi's divine powers have vanished, leaving her bewildered. She encounters her ancient adversary, now her clandestine spouse, who criticizes her unorthodox approach to interacting with him. Chen QiQi is accused of intentionally causing trouble to ruin her sister's emotional test. Shen Qiqi expresses her desire to get along with her sister, but is met with hostility and ultimately disowned by the Shen family. The two women declare an end to their relationship, parting ways as strangers. Meanwhile, Shen Qiqi's adversary remains skeptical, unsure of what the future holds.
