  Quinn Anne, a design prodigy, was rejected by her fiancé due to her appearance. Her stepmother's family treated her as worthless and ousted her from her home. In her darkest hour, Timothy Ford came to her aid after she was poisoned. As Quinn recovered, she faced ridicule from others who deemed her unworthy of love due to her looks. They believed someone like Shen Qi, considered unattractive, couldn't possibly be with someone as esteemed as Season. Meanwhile, Season and Jia Xin seemed like a more suitable match. However, amidst the gossip and rejection, Quinn found an unexpected ally in Timothy Ford, who stood by her side. Together, they began their journey to seek justice against those who wronged her, and perhaps, find romance along the way.

  Quinn's fiancé reveals his true feelings, calling her "ugly and stupid". He admits that he only pretended to care for her because of her design talent, which he wanted to use to achieve his own dreams. Quinn's family members also express their disdain for her, leaving her feeling hurt and unloved. She recalls how she has always tried to avoid conflict and lived cautiously, never daring to compete with her sister for attention or possessions. Despite this, her family still treats her with contempt, leaving Quinn wondering why they can't accept her. The scene ends with Quinn's emotional plea, asking why her family must continue to reject her.

  Quinn's fiancé, Lin Hao, publicly humiliates her, calling off their engagement due to her appearance. He insults her, saying she's "special" only in being repulsive and unlovable. Quinn's stepmother, Shen Qian, and her family join in, belittling Quinn and telling her she's worthless. They reveal that they only kept her around for her mother's legacy and money, which saved their company from bankruptcy. Now, they want Quinn to leave, erasing her from their lives. The family shows no remorse for their cruelty, even bringing up Quinn's mother's death as a way to guilt trip her.

  Quinn Anne stands up to her stepmother's family, who have treated her poorly. "I'm worthless to you now, aren't I?" she says. They mock her, saying she's useless and won't even be able to find a job cleaning toilets if she leaves the Shen family. Quinn's stepfather suggests that if she kneels down and apologizes, they might give her some money to leave. However, Quinn refuses to back down. The situation escalates into a physical confrontation, with someone daring to hit Quinn's loved one. In the end, Quinn asserts her strength, saying "This is what you owe me."
