• Ep. 1
  Saul's world was turned upside down after being betrayed by his girlfriend. In a fit of rage, he confronted her, shouting "You're really something, Li Jiajia!" He accused her of cheating on him while he was working hard to make a living. The argument escalated, with Saul threatening to teach her and her new partner a lesson. He insulted the man, calling him a "waste" for failing to control his own woman. The intense confrontation revealed Saul's emotional turmoil and set the stage for his journey towards becoming a master treasure hunter.

  Saul is mocked by a man who says he's weak and hasn't even had a woman. The man calls Saul a "废物东西" (useless person) and tells him to leave. Saul asks 李佳佳 (Li Jiajia) why she's treating him this way, but she just insults him further.   Saul, still reeling from his girlfriend's betrayal, is mocked and belittled by others. He feels like he's hit rock bottom and wonders if he's even worth living. However, after a mysterious encounter, Saul discovers he has developed the ability to appraise treasures. Cara approaches him, seeking help for her family's troubles. She offers him an antique from the Qin dynasty, which her father had previously tried to sell for a million, but now she's willing to let it go for a fraction of the price. The buyer, however, is unwilling to pay even that, and instead makes a lewd proposition to Cara. Saul intervenes, and the scene ends with tension between the characters.

  Saul encounters a woman selling a bronze artifact. The seller claims it's worth 100,000 yuan, but Saul recognizes it as a fake. He criticizes the seller for lacking culture and trying to scam people. The seller becomes defensive, and they engage in a heated exchange. Meanwhile, a man named Wang Uncle is mentioned, and someone blames him for something. Saul offers to help the seller by taking the artifact to a high-profile auction in Jianghai City, where it can be sold for a higher price. In return, the seller asks Saul to help find someone with special abilities, such as thermal vision and health insurance benefits. Saul agrees, and they plan to attend the auction together. The seller is excited about the prospect of making a profit, and Saul seems confident in his ability to help. As they part ways, the seller thanks Saul for his assistance.
• Ep. 5
  Saul and Cara plan to attend a large sale in Jianghai City. Meanwhile, Zhao Daling mocks Saul, calling him a "废物" (good-for-nothing) and implying that he has climbed the social ladder by associating with Mi Xiaojie, the city's top socialite. However, Zhao Daling warns Saul that his relationship with Mi Xiaojie won't last, as her family's influence will soon disappear. The conversation turns heated, with Zhao Daling making derogatory comments about Mi Xiaojie's character, prompting others to intervene and warn him to stop speaking.
