Edit
Desperate to find a wife, Shawn goes on one awkward date after another until he meets Violet. He thinks she's his soul mate but his autism and trusting nature keep him from realizing she's actually a prostitute.

Episodes

  • Ep. 1
Shawn introduces his new wife, Violet, to the family, but they're met with skepticism. Shawn's family discovers Violet's troubled past, including arrests for solicitation, and tries to convince him that she's not right for him. Despite this, Shawn is smitten and insists that Violet is his bride. The family's concerns escalate as they realize Violet may be taking advantage of Shawn's trusting nature. As tensions rise, Shawn's family tries to intervene, but he refuses to listen, declaring his love for Violet.
  • Ep. 2
Shawn is on a date, trying to make a good impression. His friend advises him to "turn on the charm" and smile, but warns him not to be too creepy. Shawn attempts to follow this advice, smiling for three seconds before turning back. The woman seems receptive, and they discuss plans for Saturday night. Shawn suggests 5 pm to 8 pm, and the woman agrees. As they make arrangements, Shawn's friend congratulates him, saying "you did it." The woman mentions that going somewhere extra will cost more, but they decide to stay in and have dinner instead. Shawn offers to bring dessert, specifically chocolate. The conversation ends with affectionate exchanges, including repeated expressions of "I love you."
  • Ep. 3
Shawn meets Violet, and they interact awkwardly. Violet sets boundaries, stating "No touching until I say it's okay." Shawn seems unaware of the true nature of their encounter. They discuss dessert, and Violet mentions she has something else he might find tasty. As they proceed, Violet brings up the "business part," implying a transaction. Shawn appears confused, and Violet reveals that he booked her for three hours at $900. Shawn's trusting nature leads him to misunderstand the situation, while Violet's profession as a prostitute is slowly revealed. The scene ends with an air of tension and uncertainty.
  • Ep. 4
Shawn, a programmer, goes on a date with Violet. As they talk, Shawn shares his work and Violet seems interested. However, the conversation takes an awkward turn when Violet asks if Shawn thought their meeting was a date. Shawn is oblivious to Violet's true intentions, and she eventually reveals that she has to leave, saying "Car's on the way." Shawn offers to go with her, but Violet declines, suggesting he should date someone else. Shawn apologizes if he said something to hurt her, and Violet reassures him it's not his fault, but rather that she can't date someone like him. The date ends abruptly, with Violet leaving and Shawn looking disappointed.
  • Ep. 5
Shawn and Violet share a moment together after her audition. She opens up about people only caring about her physical appearance, but Shawn shows genuine interest in getting to know her. They bond over their favorite childhood cereals, and Violet is touched by his kindness. As they part ways, Violet receives a call from a client, and Shawn waits for her, unaware of her true profession. Meanwhile, Violet's interactions with her clients are brief and transactional, contrasting with her growing connection with Shawn. As the scene unfolds, Violet's dual life becomes increasingly apparent, raising questions about her relationships and motivations.
