• Ep. 1
  Sue is mistreated by her cruel father Feng Lin and stepmother Qinxin Mu. She's forced to kneel and accused of wrongdoing. Her father yells at her, saying she's a "扫把星" (a unlucky star) and tells her to kneel until she admits her mistake. Sue's stepmother also insults her, saying she's not wanted and should die with her mother. Sue tries to defend herself, but is met with more abuse. Her father threatens her, warning her that if her brother gets hurt, he'll never forgive her. The scene ends with Sue crying out in pain and despair, calling out for her mom.

  Sue meets Yichen Su, the CEO of Su Corporation, who discovers she's his sister Jinyu Su's lost daughter. A mysterious hermit tells Sue her mother is still alive. Meanwhile, Lin Bai, the president of Bao Feng Group, encounters Yichen Su and mentions a woman named Su Jinyu, possibly Yichen's sister. Yichen Su seems determined to help Sue, who is struggling with her past and family secrets. Someone urges Sue to hold on, as she needs to be alive to save her mother. The scene shifts between conversations about Sue's identity, her mother's fate, and the determination of those around her to uncover the truth and rescue her mother.

  Sue meets a mysterious hermit who claims to be her teacher. The hermit says he can help Sue find her mother and teaches her new skills. Sue is eager to learn and asks if she can teach her mother what she learns. The hermit, who introduces himself as Qi Chang, gives Sue a gift and tells her to keep their meetings a secret. Meanwhile, Yichen Su is surprised by Sue's rapid recovery, hinting at a deeper connection between Sue's health and her encounters with the mysterious hermit. As Sue delves deeper into her training, she becomes more determined to find her mother, and the hermit's guidance fuels her hope.
• Ep. 4
  Sue wakes up to find herself surrounded by strangers who claim to be her relatives from the Su family. They introduce themselves as her grandparents, aunts, and uncles, explaining that they are the family of her mother, Jinyu Su. Sue is hesitant to trust them, fearing that her stepmother and father will be angry if she returns home with them. However, they reassure her that they are taking her to her mother's home, the Su household. Sue mentions a fish cup that her mother left for her, which is currently in her stepmother's possession. The family discusses how to handle this situation, revealing that Sue is actually the niece of the Su family.
• Ep. 5
  Sue's father, Feng Lin, and her stepmother, Qinxin Mu, continue to mistreat her. A mysterious figure demands that Qinxin return a valuable jade pendant to Sue. Qinxin denies any knowledge of the pendant, but the figure threatens the Lin family. Meanwhile, Sue is being bullied by others, who call her a "bad girl." Her aunt tries to talk to her, but Sue refuses to listen, and the situation escalates into violence. The aunt is pushed, and people start fighting, shouting "Bad woman! Someone's fighting!"
