• Ep. 1
  A man who was reborn after a tragic death resolves to become strong and overthrow the Dragon King. He is given two choices: jump to his death or have his whole family killed. However, he claims to have won and says "I didn't die." He recalls being forced to death on July 7th, but has now been reborn three months prior. As he returns, he warns others not to bother him, saying "I advise you not to come and bother me." A woman named 陆绍婷 appears, and he declares "I want to break off the engagement." The scene sets the stage for a story of revenge, power struggles, and intricate plot twists.
• Ep. 2
  A dramatic conversation unfolds between two characters. One pleads with the other, "I'm genuinely fond of you, please don't call off the wedding." The other agrees, but only if they can take control of a company called Story Group. However, it becomes clear that this is a ploy, as one character reveals they were previously deceived and driven to death by a similar trick. The Su family's true intentions are revealed: they want to use the land as leverage to gain control over the entire industry. Gu Shao Ting sees through their plan and demands that they apologize for their actions. The scene ends with a sense of unease, as the Su family's ambitions are thwarted by Gu's determination.
