Meanwhile, the son is briefly present but is told to play by himself while the adults discuss their arrangement.

  Nora's child asks if Aldin is their father, and Nora confirms. The child had been told that their father was dead, but now they're old enough to know the truth. Nora and her child decide to go out for a meal at the Southwind Restaurant. Meanwhile, Miranda and her fiancé Benjamin discuss reserving a table at the same restaurant, with Benjamin offering to help Miranda acquire some land. As they make their plans, someone mentions Nora's name, sparking curiosity about her return.
