• Ep. 1
  Cheryl's grandmother is severely ill and needs surgery, but the cost is high. Cheryl meets Greyson, a CEO who also needs to get married for business reasons. They accidentally get married at the civil affairs bureau, planning to part ways after a year. A year later, they meet again during an interview at Greyson's company. Greyson discusses marriage with his assistant, saying he wants someone who is willing to marry him immediately. Cheryl, meanwhile, is trying to find a way to pay for her grandmother's surgery and agrees to marry someone in exchange for 80,000 yuan. The two get married, but things don't go as smoothly as planned. They have a few misunderstandings, and their relationship gets off to a rocky start.

  Greyson receives a call from George, the doctor, informing him that his grandfather has suddenly stopped treatment and returned to the country. Meanwhile, Cheryl is invited for an interview at Greyson's company, Holson Group, after passing the designer position audit. She agrees to attend the interview at 3 pm that day. As Cheryl prepares for the interview, she seems nervous but determined. Unbeknownst to her, this encounter may lead to unexpected consequences and new misunderstandings with Greyson, her husband from a year ago.

  Cheryl and Greyson cross paths again at his company during a job interview. In the elevator, Cheryl accidentally pushes an older man, who yells at her and demands an apology. The situation escalates until Greyson intervenes, asking the old man if he's okay. The old man thanks Greyson and asks Cheryl her name, which she reveals is Song Shi Ning. He tells her she'll definitely pass the interview, making Cheryl suspicious of his intentions. Meanwhile, another character comments on how surprising it is that someone like Song Shi Ning would come to interview for such a small role, speculating that she might have an opportunity to meet Greyson, also known as "Guanzhu," up close if she gets into the confidential documents department. As the scene unfolds, Cheryl is called in for her interview, and Greyson's interest in her is piqued.
