• Ep. 1
  Susan Lopez is taken to a remote mountain village by her boyfriend, Jim Cox. She tries to escape with Anna Baker but they are caught by the villagers. Meanwhile, Susan's father, Cyrus Lopez, searches for her but is tricked into believing she isn't in the village. In the village, a conversation between a father and son reveals that the son has taken a girl to see his family. The girl, likely Susan, is introduced to the family's home in Hingval Village. However, tensions rise as another character, possibly a villager, becomes aggressive towards the son. A woman intervenes, asking the aggressive character to calm down and speak slowly.   Susan is being held captive in a remote mountain village. She tries to escape but is caught by the villagers. One night, she is beaten and cries out in pain. A nearby resident, Jin Ran, hears her but is told to mind his own business. Susan's phone and ID are missing, and she pleads for mercy as she is beaten again. The villager tells her to stop thinking about escaping and get used to the rural way of life. As the night wears on, Susan's cries for help go unanswered, and she is left to suffer in silence.

  Susan and Anna attempt to escape from the remote village, but are caught by the villagers. In the chaos, a villager insults Susan, calling her a "臭娘们" (smelly woman). A man, possibly Cyrus, Susan's father, is searching for her and expresses his fear for her safety, saying "我孩子" (my child). The villagers seem to be chasing someone, with repeated shouts of "快走" (hurry up) and "走" (go). A character named 川荣 (Chuan Rong) and another named 小狼 (Xiao Lang) are mentioned.
