As Kevin returns, he is met with a mix of emotions, including regret and longing. He reflects on his past mistakes and the damage he inflicted on Clara, repeating "I'm sorry" multiple times. With his five-year exile over, Kevin is ready to reclaim his position and start anew, seeking to redeem himself and find inner peace. The stage is set for his return to power, as he says "五年已到" (five years have passed), marking the beginning of a new era for the Emperor of Palace of Phenix.

  In the bustling streets of Riverland, a heated exchange unfolds between a group of individuals. One person is being forced to kneel and clean the floor, with the others taunting and humiliating them. The person being bullied claims to have a relationship with someone named Clear Love (or Qing Ya), but this is met with ridicule, as they are called a "boot-licker" or someone who only tries to curry favor. The situation escalates, with demands for the person to either clean the floor properly or face consequences. The atmosphere is tense and confrontational, with no clear resolution in sight. Meanwhile, a conversation between two individuals reveals that they are planning to marry off a ordinary person, 林青亚 (Lin Qingya), to the Emperor in ten days' time. The Emperor demands that the entire province knows about the wedding, and preparations are being made to make it a grand affair. Tensions rise as some individuals, including 楚法 (Chu Fa), seem to be pretending to know the Emperor, while others, like 高启祥, are genuinely unaware of his identity. A confrontation ensues, with one person daring to strike another, and the scene ends with the Emperor's name being mentioned, commanding respect and attention.

  Kevin reflects on his past, revealing that he was once emotionless and loveless until a turning point changed him. He is now concerned about someone, saying "you're just an ordinary person, why are you worth my efforts?" Someone asks if he's okay, and another offers to take him to the hospital due to his injuries. Kevin mentions that he has been practicing his heart for five years and is close to recovering his cultivation.
