"Hey" and "Oh" are whispered repeatedly, as if they're trying to make sense of the eerie atmosphere. The tension builds, and someone urges, "Come." However, others are skeptical, thinking it's unlikely. The director interrupts, warning them about the sudden landslide in Tian Shou Village, which has blocked the only road out. He advises them not to venture out alone on rainy days. The crew decides to seek out the village guardian for more information. As they walk through the village, they notice strange things, including a mysterious stick on the ground. "This village is too weird," someone comments. Suddenly, a villager appears, repeating "outsiders" in a ominous tone.

  As the crew films in the abandoned temple, strange occurrences start to happen. The protagonist, who is supposed to be sacrificed to an evil deity, begins to experience terrifying events. She meets a villager named Fang, whose family has guarded the temple for generations. Fang reveals that his village was driven away and 27 people died due to the filming. He believes that someone with evil intentions has joined the crew, angering the mountain god. Fang tries to help the protagonist escape, giving her a protective amulet to wear at all times. As they prepare to leave, the protagonist mentions seeing a newspaper article about the director, but their conversation is cut short. Fang urges her to stay safe and they attempt to flee the temple.

  As they gathered around the table, one of them refused to drink the soup that Lu Island had specially prepared for them. "You're not going to drink it, are you?" someone asked. The atmosphere turned tense as they accused each other of being possessed by a ghost. "He's a ghost," one of them exclaimed. Panic set in as they realized that twelve sisters had already died. "I want to go down the mountain," one of them said, but was warned not to. "You can't go down, you'll become a monster," someone cautioned. The group's trust began to break down, with one of them declaring, "I don't believe you anymore, I'm leaving."
• Ep. 5
  As the crew continues filming in the abandoned temple, tensions rise. Shaoyan insists on finding Caiwei, despite warnings from others. She believes Caiwei is in danger and must be found. After a search, Shaoyan finally locates Caiwei in the temple. Caiwei had been feeling unwell and ran to the temple for refuge. Relieved to have found each other, they prepare to leave together. However, their reunion is short-lived, as an ominous presence lurks nearby, threatening their safety. The door creaks, and a voice calls out, but it's not Caiwei on the other side. The scene ends with an eerie sense of foreboding, leaving the audience wondering what will happen next.
