- Ep. 1The husband, Lin Feng, is diagnosed with kidney disease and possibly stomach cancer. His mother, Zhao Fan, urges him to divorce his wife upon hearing the news, citing the upcoming medical expenses as a burden. The wife tries to reassure her husband that they will face the illness together, but he seems uncertain. Meanwhile, it's revealed that the couple may not be able to have children due to Lin Feng's condition. Despite this, the wife prioritizes supporting her husband through his cancer treatment. As the scene unfolds, the husband returns home, and the wife greets him, unaware of the troubles that are about to ensue.
- Ep. 2The husband demands a divorce, mistakenly believing his wife has stomach cancer. He cruelly tells her to "go die" and not burden him, revealing his true nature. The wife is devastated, having stood by him for five years. In a heart-wrenching scene, the husband callously calculates the money he's spent on her and demands she repay it. The wife, torn apart by his words, reminds him of her sacrifices, including bringing 200,000 yuan into their marriage, which he used to buy a car. The conversation is a stark contrast to the love and commitment they once shared, now replaced with bitterness and resentment.
- Ep. 3The scene unfolds with a conversation between two characters. One asks if the other is okay and if they had a fight with someone named Feng Ge. The character responds that nothing is wrong. Zhao Han Sister invites the character to her home, and they accept. As they spend time together, Zhao Han Sister expresses gratitude for the character's past help, saying it changed their life. She compliments the character on how much they've grown and become more beautiful. The character offers to help Zhao Han Sister in the future if needed. The conversation takes a turn when Zhao Han Sister calls the character a good person but implies that she is not foolish. The character asks for clarification, but the conversation becomes unclear. Later, Liu Ge appears, and there's a mention of someone being "very capable." The scene ends with an ambiguous exchange between the characters.
- Ep. 4The family is in turmoil as they search for the missing house deed. The mother-in-law and others are trying to figure out how to transfer the house to their own name if the deed can't be found. Meanwhile, someone is causing trouble, leading to a chaotic scene. A person named Li tries to intervene, telling others to stop what they're doing. Amidst the commotion, there's a sense of desperation and frustration, with some wondering why this family is being targeted by misfortune. The conversation is heated, with people talking over each other and trying to make sense of the situation.
- Ep. 5Zhao Han's mother demands that her daughter-in-law hand over the house deed, claiming it now belongs to them. The daughter-in-law refuses, and a heated argument ensues. The mother-in-law insults her, saying she's useless for not having children and being ill. Zhao Han intervenes, but his mother continues to berate his wife. The situation escalates, with the mother-in-law threatening to report her to the police if she doesn't comply. The daughter-in-law stands firm, refusing to back down. The argument becomes increasingly intense, with both parties exchanging harsh words.
