  Heidi's biological mother, Fiona Lawson, stands by Vincent Clarke as Evelyn sacrifices her life to save Heidi in a devastating fire. In the hospital, Qin Yan is being treated for her injuries and expresses concern about her leg. A doctor checks on her and reassures that her injury is not severe. However, Vincent becomes agitated when he feels the doctor is not prioritizing his wife's treatment over Qin Yan's. He warns the doctor that if his wife's condition worsens due to delayed treatment, he will take action. The doctor explains that while Qin Yan's injury is not life-threatening, the other patient's condition is critical and requires immediate attention. Vincent eventually calms down, allowing the medical staff to tend to Qin Yan. Despite her own pain, Qin Yan shows concern for Fiona's condition, prioritizing her well-being over her own.
