  Rosa Lewis considers divorcing her husband Zhao Gang. However, she's told that getting custody of her child will be difficult due to her financial situation. If the child stays with them, it'll be a dead end. Rosa asks to work for Seven Ming without pay, just needing a place for her and her mother to eat and sleep. Seven Ming agrees, offering her a job at his law firm, mainly responsible for cleaning and filing documents. Rosa accepts gratefully.

  Rosa Lewis confronts a woman who she believes is having an affair with her husband. The woman, however, claims to be the wife of a man named Huang, and that Rosa has mistaken her for someone else. The situation escalates into a heated argument, with Rosa accusing the woman of trying to steal her husband and the woman threatening to call the police. As the confrontation continues, it becomes clear that Rosa's marriage is troubled and that she feels threatened by the presence of this other woman.
