  Eleanor is forced to marry the disabled patriarch of the Fu family to save her grandmother. She becomes a domestic worker in the Fu household and meets CEO Alec upon his return.   Eleanor interacts with Alec, the CEO of the Fu family, as she works as a domestic worker in the household. Alec receives a list of gifts and instructs his assistant to prepare them, stating that he will personally give them to his wife. Eleanor observes Alec's behavior, noting that he seems like a good man. Later, Alec tells Eleanor that she can leave work for the day, and she thanks him. The scene shifts to Eleanor thinking about her situation, saying "嫁鸡随鸡嫁狗随狗" (marry a chicken follow a chicken, marry a dog follow a dog), implying her resignation to her marriage with the disabled patriarch of the Fu family.   Alec, the CEO of the Fu family, receives a valuable necklace that was left behind at a jewelry store. He praises his assistant for being diligent in returning the item. The assistant is rewarded with a doubled salary. Alec then orders food for his wife, requesting dishes such as pearl glutinous rice balls and steamed dry abalone. The staff finds it strange that the dishes Alec's wife likes are identical to Eleanor's preferences. As they wait for Eleanor to arrive, Alec suggests calling her to check on her whereabouts.
