Amber waits for her FaceTime date with Marcus, but he's late. Her pet, Pepper, is by her side as she decides to call him. Instead of Marcus, his roommate Theo answers the call. Theo explains that Marcus was supposed to use his laptop for the call, but he hasn't seen him tonight. Amber realizes she's being stood up. Just then, Marcus calls Theo, oblivious to his date. When he finds out who Theo is talking to, he tries to apologize to Amber, but it's too late. She's already upset and hangs up, leaving Marcus to face the consequences of standing her up.

Critique:
The plot relies heavily on unrealistic timing and miscommunication. It’s hard to believe that Marcus would use his roommate's laptop without him knowing by dinnertime. Plus, Amber should have used a back-up plan like texting or calling another number early on.
