• Ep. 1

Jane blames Mia for Clear's condition, stating that if it weren't for Mia, Clear wouldn't have been in an accident and become the way she is now. Jane threatens to use Mia's blood as punishment, revealing a deep-seated hatred and ruthlessness towards Mia. Meanwhile, Joe begins to see the truth about Jane's manipulative nature and starts his journey to win Mia back.

  Mia and Joe discuss their divorce, with Mia agreeing to give him money in exchange for not forcing her to donate blood to his sister, Qingqing. However, Joe reveals he never loved Mia, and their three-year marriage was a sham. He demands Mia accompany him to the hospital to donate blood to Qingqing, threatening to harm her if she refuses. Mia reluctantly agrees, feeling trapped and heartbroken. As they prepare to leave, Mia seems to be planning something, hinting that she will start anew and take control of her life. The scene ends with Joe ordering someone to bring Qingqing in for the blood donation.

  Mia's world is shattered as she learns of her miscarriage. Her sister-in-law, Jane, taunts her, saying she has no right to be with Joe since she can't bear children. Mia fires back, claiming Jane is the real homewrecker. The argument escalates, with Jane accusing Mia of being a murderer. Joe intervenes, but Mia assures him it's not her fault. She explains that if she weren't constantly ill, Jane wouldn't have tried to kill her. The scene ends with Jane being ordered to apologize to Mia, but she refuses, and Joe is torn between the two women, unsure of who to believe.

  Mia is heartbroken and files for divorce after being manipulated by Jane. She returns to her father's home, seeking comfort and protection. Her father, Lin, welcomes her back and reassures her that she will find someone else. Mia expresses her desire to go home, and her father tries to console her, saying she doesn't have to cry and that their family won't help Jane after what she did to Mia. Meanwhile, Joe starts to see the truth about Jane's schemes and begins to make amends with Mia, trying to win her back.

  Mia's sister, Shen Xia, is being belittled and mistreated by her mother-in-law. The mother-in-law insults Shen Xia, calling her a "lowly person" and treating her like a servant. Shen Xia stands up for herself, pointing out that she has done all the household chores for three years. The argument escalates, with the mother-in-law threatening to hit Shen Xia. Just as things are about to get out of hand, someone intervenes, telling them to stop fighting. Meanwhile, someone is calling out for Ji川 to come back and help, as they are being bullied by Li Wanjiang. The scene ends with a dramatic plea for help.
