Her confusion deepens when she encounters Lu Baichun, her enemy from the past, now alive and seemingly in control. Filled with fury, she vows to kill him once more, determined to avenge her fallen kingdom and reclaim her destiny.

  The princess, Ming Bing, confronts her husband, Lu Beichen, accusing him of orchestrating the death of her friend, Asher, by sending Yun Shuangshuang to seduce him.
