Molly Ye, who had drugged Ethan, is still trying to marry into wealth. Chloe confronts Ethan about their past and demands he take responsibility for their daughter. However, Ethan denies any involvement, and Chloe threatens to reveal their secret. The scene ends with Chloe proposing a marriage to Ethan, which he seems to accept, but only after being tricked into thinking it's a good idea.

  Ethan Xiao is engaged to marry another woman, but his past comes back to haunt him when Chloe Ye, the mother of his triplets, appears. Ethan's fiancée, Molly Ye, is furious when she discovers that Ethan has a child with Chloe. She confronts Chloe, who reveals that she has been working as a cleaner at the Xiao Group.   A heated argument erupts between two families. One side accuses the other of being a troublemaker and tells them to leave their territory. The young boy from one family claims to have the power of "Lei Gong" (a mythical figure) on his side, but the other family is skeptical. They threaten to teach the boy a lesson and call his parents to discipline him. The boy's opponent mocks him, saying he's just a small kid who can't back up his claims. The argument escalates, with both sides exchanging insults and threats.
