• Ep. 1
  Jenny Lane's life is turned upside down when her adoptive parents, the Greens, discover she's not their biological daughter. They begin to mistreat her, making her feel like a stranger in her own home. Jenny sets out to find her real parents. Meanwhile, the Shen family learns that Jenny is their long-lost daughter, Shen Ke Ruo. They discuss bringing her back home, but decide to wait, thinking she'll return on her own once she knows about their financial struggles. The Greens, however, are eager to get rid of Jenny, telling her to pack her bags and leave. Jenny's mother, Lin Yu Xin, coldly says goodbye, leaving Jenny to start her new life alone. With a mix of sadness and determination, Jenny embarks on a journey to reclaim her rightful place and make up for the lost years.
• Ep. 2
  Jenny arrives at the Lin family's residence, where she is met by her biological parents.
