Ethel, a new maid, accidentally breaks the office's favorite mug, which belongs to Venn. The other staff members are quick to blame and fire her, despite her protests of innocence. Monica, the one in charge, tells Ethel to leave and offers her money to keep quiet. However, Ethel insists that she didn't break the mug and needs the job. Just as she's about to be thrown out, Venn's presence is mentioned, and the staff starts discussing his secret mating.
