Julie Stein wakes up from her sleep, expecting just another ordinary day. However, to her surprise, she finds herself in the 80s, a totally different era from where she belongs. Not only is she a disowned daughter of a wealthy family to whom she has no blood connection, but she is also supposed to marry an old man with two children, in place of the family’s biological daughter.

Ep. 1
Christopher finds himself in a strange place after being betrayed by his fiancée. Disoriented, he asks "Where am I?" and "What's going on?" A woman claims to be his wife, Lin Lijuan, but Christopher is confused. They argue about divorce and property, with Lin offering to leave him the house.
