Now, with the prince unconscious and his fate uncertain, the maid is expected to marry him as part of a royal decree to bring him luck. Despite the grim circumstances, the maid remains calm, having prepared herself for this role. As she enters the prince's residence, whispers of pity follow her, as the people believe she is destined for a tragic fate. The prince lies gravely wounded, poisoned and bearing countless sword and knife injuries. Meanwhile, another servant questions the effectiveness of the treatment being administered and expresses concern about leaving the prince alone with the maid.
